ARUNA’S STORY is a solo performance inspired by Pinki Virani’s book, Aruna’s Story. It tells the tragic tale of Aruna Shanbaug, a nurse at KEM Hospital in Mumbai, who was brutally assaulted and left in a vegetative state. Despite the media frenzy surrounding her, Aruna’s true essence and strength were often overlooked.
