‘Salaam India’ Play Staged at Benefit for Maitri

SANTA CLARA, Calif. – A sold-out house
enthusiastically cheered on veteran actress Lushin Dubey’s acclaimed
production, “Salaam India,” was staged on Sept. 18 at the Santa Clara
Convention Center as a benefit for the anti-domestic violence organization
Maitri. The fantastically comical play, four
intertwined vignettes about contemporary India, is an inspiration from
