Mobirise

Samskriti' presents UNTITLED, a powerful play in Hindi and English, superbly enacted by Lushin Dubey and directed by Arvind Gaur of Theater World, New Delhi. Based on true stories of exploitation of women by the Taliban and Eurepedes's classic Medea, Lushin Dubey brilliantly enacts the entire play with very clever use of puppets, frames and other interesting props. The theme is how women can fight back the male power. The production design, the choreographic pattern and the music enhance the emir presentation in every which way, according to a review in The Times of India, New Delhi. The play will be staged on May 25 at 5.00 pm at Kaplan Theater at Jewish Community center. This production is co-funded by DAYA, an organization that serves South Asian victims of domestic abuse, and the Cultural Arts Council of Houston/Harris County.
